Terms of Service

Welcome to Multi Sense, an IoT-based predictive maintenance platform operated by Multistar Holdings Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Multi Sense platform, including our website, dashboard, mobile applications, APIs, IoT gateways, sensors, and all related services.

By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.

• "Platform" refers to the Multi Sense web application, mobile applications, APIs, firmware, and all associated infrastructure.
• "User" means any individual or entity that registers for, accesses, or uses the platform, including administrators, operators, and viewers within an organisation.
• "Services" refers to the predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, alerting, reporting, and analytics features provided through the platform.
• "Devices" means the IoT gateways, sensors, and any hardware supplied or supported by Multi Sense for data collection purposes.
• "Data" refers to all telemetry, sensor readings, metadata, configuration data, and any other information transmitted to or processed by the platform.

You may use the platform solely for lawful purposes related to monitoring and maintaining industrial equipment, infrastructure, or other assets. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform or devices.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems, networks, or data not intended for your use.
• Use the platform to transmit malicious code, interfere with other users, or degrade service performance.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without prior written consent from the Company.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform beyond the scope of provided APIs.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to any user who violates these restrictions, without prior notice.

To access the platform, you must register an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately at legal@multisense.in if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. The Company is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

Organisation administrators are responsible for managing user roles and permissions within their workspace and ensuring that all users within their organisation comply with these Terms.

All intellectual property rights in the platform, including but not limited to software, firmware, algorithms, user interfaces, documentation, trademarks, and trade secrets, are and shall remain the exclusive property of Multistar Holdings Pvt Ltd.

Your use of the platform does not grant you any ownership rights or licence to our intellectual property beyond the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform in accordance with these Terms. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit may be used by us without obligation or compensation.

We process personal data and device telemetry in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and processing of data as described therein.

You retain ownership of the data you upload or generate through the platform. We act as a data processor on your behalf and will not use your data for purposes other than providing and improving the Services, except as required by applicable law.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

The platform provides predictive insights based on sensor data and algorithms. These insights are advisory in nature and do not constitute a guarantee of equipment performance or failure prediction. The Company shall not be liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on platform outputs.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing thirty (30) days' written notice. We may also suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data within thirty (30) days of termination, after which we reserve the right to delete all associated data from our systems.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall remain in effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Before initiating formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation for a period of thirty (30) days.
